As a player Ted broke records galore with Manchester United, Liverpool, West Ham United, Bournemouth and several other top English clubs. Look him in the Guinesss Book of Records and you find his name for scoring nine goals in an FA Cup game - a record that still stands today. He was awarded the Golden Boot Award as the league top scorer and was inducted into the Norwich FC Hall of Fame.
In all, Ted scored a phenomenal 260 goals in League and Cup games
